Celebrate Our 60th Season
Celebrate the Joy of Music with us as we begin our 61st season in a new venue: the Manchester-Essex Regional High School. This brand new, state-of-the-art auditorium starts an exciting new chapter in the Orchestra's six decade history. This year begins with works by three of the greatest Romantic era composers - Beethoven, Brahms and Tchaikowsky -- with the beguiing Lucia Lin as violin soloist. The season concludes with Beethoven's great Symphony No. 3 "Eroica". Along the way you will be treated to the gospel stylings of Reneese King at our Holiday concerts, and later in March to works by three great Late Romantic period composers, and the brilliance of David Deveau as piano soloist.
Founded in 1952, the Cape Ann Symphony is a flourishing regional orchestra, now acknowledged as one if the finest in the country. These are some of the people who make this all possible. You may also read a short history of the Orchestra, and examine the organization’s mission and goals for the future.
