Wendy Betts & Priscilla Walter
in Cape Ann Symphony Benefit Recital

Wendy Betts, Director of the Cape Ann Singers, in collaboration with Priscilla Walter, pianist for the Cape Ann Singers, will present an evening of music to benefit the Cape Ann Symphony on September 10, 2010.

Ms. Betts is well known around the North Shore. Wendy manages an independent voice studio in Rockport teaching students of all ages and levels of ability. In addition to directing Rockport’s Dock Square Carolers for the past 12 years, she is Founder and Director of Share the Music, a group of 25 singers, now in its 10th year; and Organist/Director of Music Arts at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Topsfield. She has served as guest organist at Adelynrod Retreat Center and Gordon-Cornwall Theological Seminary. Wendy is Director of the Cape Ann Singers who perform at the Cape Ann Symphony Christmas Concerts.

Priscilla Walter, a professional musician and music teacher, has taught piano and organ. She has served as organist/choir director at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gloucester, Topsfield Congregational Church, and Ascension Memorial Church, Ipswich. Priscilla now accompanies and sings with the Cape Ann Singers.
